Let's try to be a journalist for one day. Read the following news and answer the questions that you will find in the Google Doc below. Make sure you create a copy of the document and save it with your name. C'mon, let's practise our reading skills ! Google Doc - Answer questions: http://bit.ly/2DopnnS St. Louis Zoo Welcomes Eight Adorable Cheetah Cubs By  Kavi Dolasia  on  January 15, 2018 Photo Credit: stlzoo.org With fewer than 10,000 cheetahs left in the wild, the addition of even a single cub is  hailed  as a victory. Hence, you can only imagine the excitement caused by the January 3, 2018 announcement of the birth of eight cheetahs at the St. Louis Zoo in Missouri. According to the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) which manages 12 cheetah  conservation  facilities — including the one at the St. Louis Zoo — this is the first time such a large, healthy  litter  has been born. The book chain

Ever wondered how a book would turn out if 10 people wrote its story? Well today we're going to find out! Let's practise our writing skills with this fun game: the book chain! In order, and one at a time, you will write one small paragraph (30 - 40 words) for each story below. When you finish with one, go to the next one until you've added your part in all of them. At the end, we will read them out loud together and see what outrageous story you've comed up with! Please bear in mind that a story has to have 3 parts: 1. Beginning: introduction of the story, characters, setting... 2. Middle: a problem arises and how the characters try to solve it. 3. End: how the problem is solved. Let's go! Work with your team, listen to the song and try to write down in the Google Doc of your song as much of the lyrics as you can. 3. When all the groups are done, each group will sing out loud their lyrics and the other groups will try to guess what song it is! 4. We will discuss together what do the songs talk about.
